Types Of Internet Scams By The scam defenders
There are so many types of Internet scams. Basically there are two classes of Internet scams.
Group one are started with spam or other types of email (even at times ftom friends and family who are members of MLMs - network marketing or legal pyramid schemes)....
Group two are started when you visit suspect web sites from which you download viruses, adware, malware or other similar evil software. Sometimes these are carried on the back of software you knowingly download (trojan horses) and at other times you don't even notice what is going on and you visit a bad site without adequate defense (right browser, addons and virus scanner) and yiyr computer is infected unknwingly.
There are so many different Internet fraud scams.
Most of the top Internet fraud start with spam emails although some you actually go the the wewbsite yourself.
And yet others start with TV informationals.
The
basic thing here is: "If it is too good to be true - it will not be true."
No one from Nigeria is going to give you millions of dollars for a few thousand of dollars seed money.
Multi-level marketing does not work for 99% of members.

There's of course, phishing where you get email apparently coming from a bank or similar institutions asking you to go to a look alike site and are asked for your account information and password. This never happens. Your bank will never, ever send you an email asking you to reemter your password and give your account number.
So the real issue is how to defend yourself against these Internet frauds.
And the answer is be careful, damned careful. No matter whet you think you have been scammed in your life.
You , like me, may have used a contractor who claimed he was licenced but was not.
You, like me, may have paid for a sotware which did not work while you signed your rights away by siging a contract you did not read.
Remember that if it looks too go to be true - it will not be true. Trust your original intuition.
Always, avoid if you have any doubts at all.
If it is a real deal, it will available tomorrow. They will let you do your research since they know the product is good. If they try to hurry you into a decision just leave.
